Problem with EE's Forum Module

I have installed EE Forum Module 2.0.0 and modified the standard theme quite a while ago. I have recently opened the forum for the members and when members are posting onto the forum something strange happens. Their entered text is not showing up, instead only “1” is displayed.
I would appreciate it if somebody could help me solving this issue.

Did you upgrade to E 2.0 + Forum 3 or is this still 1.6.8 + Forum 2? Do you have issues using other themes such as “developer” etc?
EE version is 1.6.1 and Forum is version 2.0.0
I have changed to various themes but all display the posts with number “1” in it (as only character in post). Also I have uninstalled the forum and reinstalled it with no success.
Hm odd…what version of forum? Maybe I can try and test to see if it is version specific??? Long shot but…
Forum is version 2.0.0
Try updating to 2.1.2
..updated forum to 2.1.2 and EE to 1.6.8
