tinymce not saving after editting

I have this strange thing happening. In my text area field using TinyMCE after I make an edit to an enty and click update the entry says it is saved but it reverts back to the previous entry and nothing is actually saved.

I am using 1.6.7 with the following extensions:

Publish Tweeks (v.0.8) Tiny MCE Extension for EE (v.1.0.0)

the only way I can seem to get the entry to update is to click th html code icon in TinyMCE and make the edit in the code and then update. That is the only way it seems to work.

Anyone else ever had this problem?
