Hi,

A site I recently updated to 1.6.8, adding LG Better Meta and TinyMCE, is, according to the tech support folks, straining the server.

Where do I start to troubleshoot this?

EE Debug info says:

(0.671289) - End Template Processing -
(0.671321) Parse Global Variables
(0.985107) Template Parsing Finished
Memory Usage: 5,373,500 bytes

61 SQL queries are run.

The host says “the problem is that the processor continues running after a reader leaves a page or article”

Thx,

Ben

expdesign, unfortunately we don’t provide direct support for third party addons. Moving to Extensions for additional community support.

Sue,

I only mention the add-ons because the problem was noted after they were installed. However, I don’t think the add-ons are the problem–TinyMCE does not affect rendering, and LG Better Meta is unlikely to tax the server.

Ben, if you disable extensions, does the problem still happen?

Will extensions retain their settings if I disable all at once with the green button?

expdesigns, yes, they will retain their settings if you disable all of them at once.
