NSM Publish Plus Extension causing Fatal Error

I’ve installed Leevi Grahams awesome NSM Publish Plus Extension, however when I try to run it through MAMP is causes the following error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 175400 bytes) in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/helix/extensions/ext.nsm_publish_plus_ext.php on line 1325

Any ideas how to fix this? Do I simply need to increase the PHP memory allowance?
