Yup, the team that did Obama’s site uses EE a lot but didn’t end up being a fit for Obama’s campaign site.

As to politics, don’t blame me, I voted for Kudos.

They’re good, but the Nature Valley bars are supposedly better for you.

I´m brazilian (and in Brazil) but i prefer Obama (just coz the Obama offical site runs EE 😉 )

Funny it doesn’t check out with Builtwith.com that it’s running on EE.
If it was I’ld say it didn’t make him or his IT guys all bad… 😊

Oh now I get it veep doesn’t stand for VP. but for v-ee-p, vote EE for President, good catch Mark.
I’m was considering a vote of no confidence, now there’s other options, ph-ee-ww!!!

    Yeah… we’re like that. 😊
I added BlueStateDigital.com’s blog feed to my Ad Research feeds, might pick up some marketing ideas (not my strong suit).

Heh.  Politics.  My general feel is that most developers tend to lean left.  Then there are those who are on the right, and they tend to shock everyone else (“Wait, HE’s a Republican?  I thought he was so cool—how can he betray me like this?”  Cue anguished wailing).

In a way, it’s like the Apple versus PC thing:  Apple users and the company itself are fairly well on the left side of the spectrum.  Yet there are a few prominent Right wingers who use Macs, Rush Limbaugh being the biggest name.  I would suspect that EE users follow the same dynamic.  Most are probably liberal.  But then there’s the ones on the right who use it as well, and are proud of that, like me.

Personally, I think coders and web developers are equally capable on both sides of the political divide.  It’s unfortunate that if you are on the right, you are more likely to be verboten.  See what happened to Andy Rutledge.

I’ll confess to a macabre curiosity over the EE team’s political leanings.  I’ll bet that most are liberal, but there will probably be a conservative or three among them.  And I’ll also bet I won’t ever know.  It’s not that important, and since this is a divisive topic, they will wisely refuse to answer, lest they offend some politicalish customer who won’t ever patronize products made by those evil blah blah blahs.
