Haven’t heard it mentioned on here, maybe it’s not the done thing, taboo subject and all, or perhaps there’s a special, Pan-Europe filter, that blocks us lot over the pond from seeing any conversations about American politics.

Anyhow, there’s some kind of election going on tomorrow I gather..

    .. Good Luck USA!

To be honest, I for one appreciate the distinct lack of politics in these forums. Keeps the tone civilized, and the conversation to the focus 😊

    Politics?

I had one of those once. Took the vet hours to get the clock out of him!! 😉 😊 😉

Too true Ingmar, too true. I have two small firewalls built into either ear to filter out the bluff and bluster we constantly hear over here in the UK.

No way. We would have heard something about it before now.

It’s all true over here in the UK isn’t it? I’ve believed everything the government has told me since I was born!!

Now is that where I’ve been going wrong!! 😉

Why didn’t someone tell me? 😊

Let’s just say we have, over here, ad nauseam—so I can only imagine how you guys must feel…

Didn’t I see you on the news at the last election Mark, standing as a candidate for the “Helicopter pilots and parrot-fanciers for world peace, free beer, and Rick for president party”?

Think you might have to work on the party name next time, no way will that fit on a RSS feed.

(Did I get the joke right?.. Polly Ticks yes..? I’ll get my coat.. 😝 )

Bizarre.. that’s the exact noise I hear through my mini ear filters when a politician comes onto the TV!

On second thoughts, that probably means they’re not working. 😖

Well if I was American I would choose ExpressionEngine for president.

Hmmm wait a minute can a software be President?

I hope if there is discussion about politics it is in the context of websites and software. I know that the company (Blue State Digital) being used by the Obama campaign uses ExpressionEngine generally for their clients, but has it been shown that Obama’s campaign site is run off of that software too?

If it’s this site here :

    Barack Obama

then I’m pretty sure that’s not running ExpressionEngine. I could be wrong though.

    Best wishes,

    Mark
