    I’m testing out a G1.

The flip out screen scares me, so fragile like it’s going to break, and it wiggles, too.  That’s frightening as well.  How long until it wiggles off?

I’m a designer (as one previously said) and I like all things integrating wiht my mac but I have an ipod touch and it suits me just fine.

I also have ADD so yes, the many things coming at me at once helps my brain.

I like it overall, I just have some hardware concerns.

The last thing I want to do is multi-task, and much less on a phone. I’m a GTD fan/proponent (which I see you’re fond of as well judging by your signature) so multi-tasking, to me, is counter-productive. I did it for years and it didn’t serve me all that well.

Ditto. Multitasking is highly overrated. I’m back to the future with batching.

I like the G1 - it’s pretty friggin’ cool from what I’ve seen - but I wouldn’t give up my iPhone for it, especially since it works so seamlessly with my all-Mac studio. 😊

Yep, it has promise, but the boatload of features don’t make up for how easy an iPhone is to use—phone, productivity, games, fun, adventure. For the first time ever on a cell phone, it has become a pleasure to use.

Competing with the iPhone will be a major challenge for cell phone makers. It’s not the list of features that’s important. It’s usability.
