I need to implement drop-down menus for a site I’m developing. I’ve found a gazillion different solutions and I’m having a hard time figuring out which one to use.

I’m looking for a clean and elegant solution that works everywhere (even in lynx/links).

The best solution I’ve found so far seems to be Son of Suckerfish Dropdowns, but maybe someone here knows of an even more elegant solution?

Maybe I should clarify that the solution doesn’t need to work on ancient versions of the browsers, just the last 2-3 versions is enough. And the lynx/links requirement is mostly because if it looks OK and can be navigated properly there then search engines are usually able to index the site properly.

I use LX_menu with joomla, but im sure it could be adapted very easily to work with out joomla.

Sons of suckerfish is imo the easiest and the best… I’ve used it tons of times before and it IS just so easy…

Thanks everyone for the feedback! It looks like Son of Suckerfish Dropdowns is a pretty safe bet.
