My father is a draftsman and graphic artist, so I naturally got the bug. We worked together once I got older and ventured into designing and creating Web sites. I had the young blood and enthusiasm to learn the technologies needed to produce Web sites and applications. I started by hacking Perl scripts using flatfile databases and eventually moved on to PHP. Shortly after taking on PHP, I was hearing about Ruby on Rails so I did a search for a PHP framework. Lo! and Behold! CodeIgniter took the Cake, so to speak...
