    Oh yeah.

ExpressionEngine has had the same price for over three years. During that time the capability of the application has vastly increased, the number of modules more then doubled, and our development and support team has grown much larger.  While our final pricing decisions have not been made, we expect that there will be a modest price increase.

    Fair play

I’d happily pay more - EE is the muts nuts.

I’m guessing that I am not the only one wondering about this - so here goes:  what’s the word on ecommerce?  Will there be a module ready for 2.0 when it debuts?

Very impressive! You can see there’s a huge amount of effort and attention to detail going into it. Accessories sounds really cool - that opens lots of avenues.

    here’s to sneak preview 2!

Rick my friend, what software did you use for the screencast? (that highlighting thingie is sexy)

Its a combo of ScreenFlow and Mousepose.

I just bought Mousepose after seeing your screencast. It will be very helpful for tutorial screencasts for my clients.

With the new sections at the bottom of the new CP I can embed my client tutorials. I’m so very happy about this as I was building individual pages into the client site before but now it makes life easier. Especially with member group handling!

I use iShowU for my screencasts but I might look into ScreenFlow based on some of the features it has over iShowU.

PS. Great screencast and well done on the jQuery effects!

One question I’d love to know is, will EE 2 support multiple field groups per weblog?

Well… is there any way to see this preview under Windows XP?  I tried five different browsers and so far no lack. Is there any link to download this preview or should I buy MAC to see it?  😛

You need Quicktime or a Quicktime plugin for your browser to view it.

@alex7 - There’s a right-click to save to desktop link underneath the video on the video pop-up.

The video wouldn’t play for me in Firefox on a Mac btw so I had to download it.

That is a GREAT preview! Nice job. I’m so pleased with all the interface improvements - and they look like BIG improvements on the current control panel.

I’ve got them and don’t have any problems. Cannot see only this particular preview.

    Thanks! Will do it…

Ya…there’s some subtle little things going on in there that weren’t just by happenstance, they had to be planned and thought out in advance. Very well done. The best you’ve done so far. Congrats!!!

Edit-add: Do you really need Mousepose if you are using ScreenFlow?

I’ve only just begun using ScreenFlow, so I’m not yet familiar with its keyframe highlighting features.  Mousepose is perfect for live recordings, though, as it’s a single keypress while I’m narrating to help make sure you’re looking where I want you to look. :-D
