    Hi All,

Is anybody out there interested in donating some time or pre-existing css / html to InkType?  I am interested in obtaining at least two templates:

1 template to use as the default InkType template
1 template to use as the template for InkType’s website

All you would have to do is simply zip up the css and html file(s) and send them my way - no need for you to convert them into an InkType compatible template or anything like that.  I’m the furthest thing from an efficient designer, so I would like to ask anybody who is interested and has some fairly unique designs to contribute.  Also, I would require that your template files are licensed under an open source license and redistributable (requiring a link back to you in the footer is 100% acceptable if you want).

Please keep in mind that this is 100% voluntary on your part, but your time and effort will be greatly appreciated by many people.  You can either send me a private message, post a reply here or email me at: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

Thanks and be sure to let me know if you have any questions!

I would recommend hitting one of the many open source web design sites and utilizing some of the templates found there.

I wouldn’t mind doing something for it. I’d need to get a wee bit of guidance as to what would be good to go with the functionality that is planned.

Yes - and that’s what I normally do (I have a collection of hundreds of templates from those sites), but for InkType I want two templates that are as unique as possible (one for the default template and one for the website).

Thanks, audiopleb… I’ll send you some information later today when I get home from my day job.

    Hi D13,

Please PM the details to me as well.  I’m quite busy but would be willing to give back to the community.

Thanks you two - I’ve sent you the information…

Essentially, InkType does the same thing that WordPress does… so if you’ve ever used WordPress, then it’s the same concept.

I don’t need multiple pages designed - I just need one single index file with the css and any images to go along with it.  I’ll parse that file out into the InkType templates and all that.

If anybody has any questions or has any unique designs to offer, please feel free to let me know… and, of course, you can download InkType from the link in my signature!

    Thanks!

I would be willing, but I wouldn’t be able to start work for another week or so. My personal life is a bit hectic right now, so I don’t have a lot of free time for coding. I can send you a PM with links to some of my work and maybe we can discuss the kind of look you want convey.

I’m not a designer, but when my head gets full of source code I sometimes open my PS up and mess with it a bit. I did this simple design with InkType in my head, so if you like it, I’d be happy to code some css for it, but I won’t be hurt if you don’t…

No - I like that!  Very clean, simple, to the point… the kind of stuff I love, and nothing distracting about it!  If you created some CSS for that, I would certainly use it.

    Thanks, Thoer!
