Yes I do think those articles should be made available. Actually I copied quite a few of them as a text file for later reference.

I’m just going to put in my word here that I’ve also enjoyed Jambor-EE but get how busy life can become. Hope that they can bring back both the original Jambor-EE and the December project when they get the opportunity.

I just discovered quite happily that I had subscribed to the Jambor-ee RSS feed on a whim some time back, and all of the feeds are comfortably there, archived in my Google Reader for me to refer to! Just yesterday I was bewailing the fact that I’d never saved the pages (but I did save the templates and weblogs created from the tutorials!)
If only for the tips on using embeds, the entire endeavor was seriously worth the price of admission! (Which was only the price of my own time spent working through the exercises!)
Thank you, Jamie et al!

You can access the old site via the Way Back Machine 😊

I have been following Jambor-EE’s updates and was very surprised with the sudden site shutdown. I Would love to know what is going on?? Hope everyone is alright.
To bad, I thought it was a great concept and I looked forward to reading the updates everyday.
I know EE gave Jambor-EE a lot of support and I hope that this does not prevent Rick from reaching out in the future.

Hi guys - I’m new to EE and I find a lot of references online to Jambor-ee so I’m looking forward to seeing it if/when it returns.
I don’t suppose anyone that has text copies of the tutorial they were running would be so kind as to forward them my way?

“Back soon” isn’t lookin good. Does anyone know what happened?

Yes, it would be very nice if someone at Jambor-ee would give the fans a little hint.

Just figured I would give this a little bump. Any life in the Jambor-ee team? I understand people being busy, but it would be nice just to hear anything at all from them.
Leslie, do you have any idea what happened to them?

Jambor-ee = Jamie Pittock, and I think he’s just been super busy, I haven’t heard anything other than that.
There are other projects in the works (not by me! 😊 so keep an eye out in the coming months 😉

Jambor-ee content is no longer available from the Internet Archive.
I can’t help but think that there are some legal issues involved here. That’s the only reason I can think of for absolute silence about the site and all its content. You know, the lawyers saying something like “you can’t even talk about not talking about it.”
I hope I’m wrong about this, but it’s not looking good.
I also hope this situation doesn’t put a damper on other folks wanting to offer tips & tutorials for EE fans.
