Thanks Guys for getting back to me. To answer some of your questions:

    - My budget is around 25-40 pounds (50-80 dollars)
    - My requirements are LAMP5, root access, host 20 sites minimum & anything else is cool.
    - The hosts them self must be reliable, good customer service & have a quick response     time.

@joeles: you really had some troubles! And I thought I was getting messed about 😊

@Code Arachn!d: Thats why I thought I’d ask here, as I assume alot of you guys have faced this problem at some point or another and your from the same work sector. Also I’ve hung round this forum for a while (silently) and I don’t feel like the annoying noob asking selfish questions and never posting again.

I’m going to have a better look at mediatemple.net as this host seems to come up quite often any more advice would be appreciated. thanks again

I’ve had great luck w/ lunarpages for dedicated hosting… make sure when you setup your account you request to have centOS 5 instead of 4.2 or whatever it is ... centOS 4 is a bitch w/ php5/mysql~5.  If I’m just doing something else for a smaller site i host them on mosso.  They’re freaking awesome.  I tried temple hosting and there were alot of periods of downtime that didn’t fly w/ my clients.  I’ve never had problems w/ mosso except that they don’t allow ssh access(yet).  Very good deal for 100/month.
