Can you let me know approximately how many lines are in your /system/config.php file?

Also, what do you have set for your path to Themes folder now, in the Admin area, General Config?

You can also, for now, put a copy of the Themes folder inside your /system/ folder - that should make it work, though I suspect, as Robin does, that you have an open_basedir restriction on your server - so that’ll end up being the permanent solution.

I was having these exact same problems—and can confirm, by simply copying the themes folder into my system folder (and setting the path to my themes folder in the CP to ./themes/) the styles have shown up again.

Currently there are 27 lines in the system/config.php file.  Three of them we added during this process, and two of them are blank.

The path to the Themes folder is /themes.

I will try moving the themes folder, but I definitely want the permanent solution.  I have a dedicated virtual server through mediatemple, and I’m not sure how to change the open_basedir.

Hollah!  We’re in business.  I copied the themes folder to the system folder and changed the path to vibe9’s suggestion, and voila!  We’re styled away.

I still want to know about the open_basedir so that I feel like this is really resolved.

    Thanks, everyone! :cheese:

Just to keep you updated, I’m trying to find a PHP snippet to find out if open_basedir restrictions are the problem; I, or another tech support specialist, will get back to you with that information.

Ok, can you head to Admin -> Utilities -> PHP Info, and do a find in page for “open_basedir” - and post what it says?

Ah, I just found this post.  Here’s what it said:

    open_basedir /var/www/vhosts/heatherkate.com/httpdocs:/tmp no value

It looks like open_basedir is a factor. My open_basedir values both say no value.
