I also tried and tried to adjust to Apple’s Mighty Mouse but eventually went with Logitech’s MX Revolution. I used the Mighty Mouse long enough that it took me a while to adjust back into believing the right click menu would pop up on first try. 😊

Bit of an old thread but I saw this today - http://www.engadget.com/2008/01/31/logitechs-mx-revolution-goes-bluetooth-at-the-fcc/
I know the dongle is minuscule already but a BT version is just that one step easier.

I personally just use the trackpad now on my Macbook Pro with some system preference software that gives me a lot more control.
Saying that has anyone ever seen the Mogo Mouse?
Very very very weird!! 😊
Best wishes,
Mark

I have a Logitech VX Nano for my laptop/home/travel, and a Logitech VX Revolution at the office. I actually prefer the Nano - I LOVE it. I use a System Preference Pane called SteerMouse to control the buttons.

Yeah steermouse and the Nano is the way to go - thats the same setup I use.

I use a Logitech G5 gaming mouse (if you need a wireless version, get the G7) and a Kensington Slimtype keyboard.

I’m a tech geek, and currently have 3 mice. I have a Logitech MX Revolution at work, a Logitech VX Revolution in my bag, and a Mighty Mouse at home. I love all 3. The logitech revolutions are simply amazing… the scroll wheel is awesome. I highly recommend both of them, and they’re supposedly coming out with a bluetooth version of the VX soon, so no dongle.
I think you’d be happy with either of them. The corded might mouse is better IMHO than the cordless. It’s a lot lighter and feels less bulky (but maybe that’s just me). My boss has a wireless MM and I’m not too fond of it. But I absolutely love my corded one.
Not much help if you’re deciding between the two, but I’d definitely suggest getting a logitech or MM.

Must be old fashioned because MM came with my new Pro and I can’t stand it…..when you grip the sides of the thing (like you do ALL mice), things happen! I gave it to my dad and went back to the single function apple white wired mouse. Ahh, I love it.
Having been around way back when - at the time Apple wrote their revolutionary Human Interface Guidelines…a mouse which most accurately follows the “pointing and pushing button” human normality seems to be the simplest. Just as multi-tasking is largely a myth, so is multi-functioning mice (IMHO).
Certainly some folks can get used to them, and even benefit. But this old man is going to stay with the single function model.

I know you are looking for a mouse but I work on Mac Book Pro and decided to give a Wacom Intuos3 Tablet a go. Haven’t looked back. It causes less strain on the wrist I find plus it come with a decent mouse. My 2 cents worth!
And also I have used a 4 year old black Microsoft mouse (forget the version) for ages and found them the most comfortable.
