    Well, I removed site name from the all three path.php files, still can’t see any site. Same error - “Disallowed file extension”. I do not use htaccess file at all. As for different extension I use CSS files, which I made from ccs templates, the name of file is “global.css” and I was able to use it without any troubles. I don’t know what to do now. Reinstall everything?

    No, no sense in re-installing.  Can you pm me a copy of your path.php file- the on in era?

    Hopefully all is well now- looks like it was a problem with the $system_path- just needed tweaking.  Should get the other two sites up and running as well- though for each of them, you’ll want to go in and edit system prefs and weblog paths, etc.  They’ll all be mimicing the original site at the moment.

    Yep! Thanks to Robin I found that this kind of error was because in path.php file should be used ONLY relation path in

    $system_path = "your_path_to_system_folder";

    not URL, that it was in my case. BTW it’s not obvious from installation instructions. Well, now it’s time to change everywhere the correct paths in templates of different sites. Thanks again, Robin!

    Well folks, I’ve got another funny question. Should I use only unique weblog names for weblogs on different sites or I just can use the same default weblog name (like – ‘default_site’)? Same about names of templates group – should it be unique names?  For example, I’ve got three sites and in every on of them I’ve got template group named ‘site’. Every templates I’m saving as files in different directories on site’s domains. But I’ve got only one DB. What the proper way naming weblogs and templates group for different sites – unique or not?

    alex7, you can reuse them, but the reality is that I’d tend to NOT do that. It’s way to easy to get confused which templates you’re editing. I’ve done that already.

    It’s less confusing if you’re editing templates directly.

    Tank you Sue! I see your logic. I’m planning to use Dreamweaver for editing and with reused names it could be a real mess. So, I’ll better give them unique names just in case.
