Is there a way to change a site’s short name after the initial import, or do I have to delete the site and re-import it?

Sure, just hover over your site drop-down, and choose “edit sites” -> you’ll see a list of sites and in one of the right columns a link to edit each site.  Choose that - you change the shortname there.

When I do that I get an error message:

Site Error: Unable to Load Site Preferences; No Preferences Found

Reviewing MSM/Site preferences, everything is as I set it up before the name change. If I change the short name back, the error goes away.

Seems like something that links the site’s short name to the site is not active.

John, I think I see it - I replicated this quite easily then realized that I had not modified path.php’s sitename to match.  If you do that, does it fix it up for you?
