    Hi, Ben,

I’m very sorry that we weren’t able to get a solution to you in time.  Right now - do you have things going the way you need them to? If not, i’ll ask a developer to look in on this and see if we can get you at least a temporary solution.

    Let me know, thank you.

    Hi Lisa,

I’ve just left the client with Super Admin access at the moment and have given them instructions on what areas not to touch, not ideal but it will do for now. Unfortunately this is the same project as this issue: http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/181013/ so it’s been a bit of a rough one.

    Cheers

    Hi Ben,

I’ll let Lisa come back to you on this one but the offer of letting a developer to look further into this is still there

Same problem here. I don’t mind now but maybe my client does in a cople of months.

Hi, all. I can’t replicate the problem with the version of EE I’m testing with. It’s fixed in an upcoming release.

I don’t have an exact release date for you other than to say it’s soon. 😊 Does that help?

Hi - is this still an issue?

I am unable to move an entry to a different channel. I’m logged in as super admin.

See attached for the list of channels I get when I want to move the entry i.e. I only get the one channel. I’ve tried this with different channels including completely replicating the channels and still there isn’t the option of moving the entry.

    I’m running Freelancer v2.2.2 - Build: date 20110801

    Any help appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Gregor

    Hi, Gregor -

Do all of your channels have identical category, status, and custom field groups?

Hey Lisa - yeh they do. I tried different combinations and then tried channels with exactly the same details. No luck with either.

I’m quite new to ee (really like it), but I can’t recall ever being able to do this - perhaps I’m doing something wrong!

    Hi, gregormck.

If you go to create a new entry, can you at that point change the channel?

Hi Sue - no I can’t. The screenshot attached earlier was actually from a new entry.

    Gregor,

If you duplicate a third channel from one of the other two, do you then see two channels available in the dropdown? I’m still unable to replicate this, I’m afraid.

Hi - sorry for the slow response - holiday season!

I reinstalled everything and it now seems to be working - strange!

    Thanks for your help.
