Correct me if I’m wrong, EllisLab…

You can only upgrade the Fusion Ads bundle Freelancer License at the discounted price. I believe you can upgrade your Non-Commercial License just not at a discounted price.

Correct. The upgrade discount we’re talking about in this thread is specific to the Freelancer License obtained through the FusionAds bundle.

    So I guess I’m stuck.

EDIT: I currently have a Non-Commercial License. I mistakenly said “Freelance” above. So my goal is to update my current Non-Commercial to Commercial which looks like the Fusion Bundle would only save me $29.99 compared to the value of a Freelance license.

Its $130 to upgrade from the Freelancer license you got in the Fusion Bundle to a Commercial license. That’s $20 cheaper than going from a Non-commerical license to Commercial license upgrade.

Plus you’d still have your existing Non-commercial license for later use.

If you’re saying that you want to apply the $99.95 retail price for the Freelancer included in the Fusion Bundle toward the upgrade price, sorry that’s not possible.

Definitely a nice deal. I’m not saying it isn’t. The impression I had (and was kind of given) prior to yesterday was different than what the deal ended up being. Again, nice deal but as a consumer, not what I thought I bought.

It’s cool. I’ll see if I can take advantage of the deal anyways and hook you guys up with a little extra cash. I do like EE very much.

    Thanks for the help.

I have a few EE licenses already, and also bought the bundle.

Can someone tell me if there is a time limit to when we can upgrade the bundle license at the reduced price?

    Thanks

    Hi Adam,

You have 60 minutes left, quick, buy now!

I kid, I kid (too much coffee this morning).

We didn’t put an expiration date on it so you’re welcome to redeem it whenever. If we’ve taken the upgrade process/page off of ExpressionEngine.com (which won’t happen for quite a while), just .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) and we’ll get you setup manually.

I have sent following email to Sales one week ago. But no luck, I still haven’t received any reply from EE yet.

According to the blog post, people who bought the bundle are entitled to have a 40% discount on upgrades. Since I just found that the upgrade price from Freelancer licence to Non-Commercial was $89.98, the same as Curtis (http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/177797), so I just chose to redeem the Freelancer licence. But it happens to me that the upgrade price is just $30 now. Can I still get this offer now?

    Hi Mitchell,

I’m so sorry about that. I see that we did receive an email from you on January 10th. We replied the same day but we made a mistake that prevented the email from reaching you.

The answer to your question is yes, for those that redeemed the Freelancer during the few hours that the upgrade price was wrong, you are entitled to upgrade at the correct price.

Mitchell, in your case specifically someone from our team will respond to your original email today on how to do that.

I bought the Freelance license through the bundle and I registered it to a subdomain of my main site (ee.domain.com instead of domain.com) so I could play with it and figure out how it works. Will I be able to move the license to the main domain (domain.com) later, when I’m ready?

Hi, mitten - welcome to ExpressionEngine and our community.

The license is not tied to a particular site, so long as you use it on only one live site, you can move it where needed.
