Did you send it to John directly? We work in shifts, so there may be a delay. I sent you an email from our internal database so we all can see the work in progress.

Fifth Letter,
Ok I have a plan for you.
Can you download EE1.7 please? You can grab this in your purchases area on the licence agreement page.
Do you use trackbacks? I see you have the Module installed?
Uninstall the module if not. There is no such module in EE2.x anyway.
Update your installation to EE1.7 using this documentation
Reply here when done so and report any issue if you come across it.
Then the upgrade to EE2.x can be done

not finding a download link to EE 1.7 in the purchases area of my account as you advised:
“Can you download EE1.7 please? You can grab this in your purchases area on
the licence agreement page.”
please let me know where I can find this or add the download to my purchases area

When you download EE 2 there’s a radio button on the license page allowing you to download EE 1.7 instead.
