I’m so excited to announce the release of ....

“EESuite - A Business Software Suite For ExpressionEngine”

EESuite is a business software suite in works. Currently the community edition version is available for download. This version has a fully blown membership engine and digital products cart system.

EESuite works right from within EE, so you don’t have to maintain two different systems. EESuite harness the power of EE for maintaining members.

Some of the available features are:

    1. Membership & Payment Data: Available right within EE. No 3rd party scripts to integrate.

    2. Same User Names for All Membership Sites (MSM): You can use MSM of EE to run as many membership sites. Using this module, your members don’t have to create a new user account. They can access all the membership sites for which they will have active subscriptions. No more mess of creating multiple user groups inside EE and coming up with tedious permutations and combination.

    3. Sell Subscriptions, Plus Digital Products: At the time of release, this module will have only subscription capability, but shortly after release, there’ll be an update that allows you to sell digital downloadable products from within EE too. You can provide as many download links to your users as you want.

    4. Zero Dollar ($0) Products: You can offer $0 products to your customers. For these products, customers don’t have to go trough payment processor and transaction gets added to their account instantly. When you will download EESuite you’ll understand what I mean 😉

    5. Payment Gateways: Currently, PayPal & Authorize.net are integrated, The next immediate version will have 2Co, & Clickbank.

    6. Automatic Addition to Autoresponders: If you use a service like Aweber.com or similar to send out follow up sequences to your members, then you can easily add all paid members to your auto responders - automatically - after they complete the purchase. This is valid for both subscription and digital download products.

    7. Affiliate Software Integration: If you use an affiliate script, then you can easily integrate with your affiliate system by adding just one config parameter. So chill!! And yeah, it will handle the refunds too.

We’ve been using EESuite on our own site and on 100s of our customers sites. It’s been worked upon and a very stable platform.

Sounds very promising - quick question though, why only digital products?

You can sell physical products too, but currently it doesn’t manage quantity, shipping calculation etc. It will be there soon though, including coupons feature.

    Great effort & great share.
There has been a lot of requests for this(digital goods only) in the past, I am sure people will appreciate.
    Thank you.

Yes only EE2+ is supported. Since aggressive work is going towards adding new modules (helpdesk, kunaki integration etc etc) I’m not sure as of now that we will work on for any lower versions in near future.

But yes, if there r any volunteers who can help us concert it for EE1.6 version, I be happy to set up few sessions and assign someone to work with them.

Will the free version always be available and supported once the pro version is out?

    I was wondering this too.
Could you give some idea of what features will be in the Community and the Pro version to get a feel for what we may be paying for at a later date?

Am especially interested in the CRM features you mention on the website too.
Looking forward to giving it a go.

My first attempt on my local computer produced a PHP error:

    A PHP Error was encountered

    Severity: Warning

Message: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/ee/system/expressionengine/third_party/eescore/pi.eescore.php:1)

    Filename: core/Common.php

    Line Number: 428

    Any ideas?

The CE version will essentially have EEShop module with following features added in coming few weeks:

    1. Ability to convert any EE content post into a product, without creating a product in EEShop. This will allow you to convert any post in any weblog into a product, and then let EESuite accept the payment for that content post. This is a huge feature as you are not restricted to just creating products in EEShop. (pro feature)

    2. Some minor enhancements, such as rollback to user group of your choice, than just default, in case of subscription cancellation or refunds.

Now, PRO version will have many more new features & modules. Let me give a quick idea as it is difficult to explain the complete road map 😊

    1. Customer Segmentation - (very powerful CRM feature) - This will allow you to tag customers when they purchase a product.

    2. More Payment Processors - 2CO, Clickbank, Auth.net, Infusionsoft, etc etc…

    3. Amazon S3 & Link Cloaking - You can provide downloads from S3 and create expiring URLs so your links are not shared.

    4. Modules - Vendor Management (create vendors, pay them), Swipe Files, Helpdesk, Link Tracker (Short URLs types) Contact Management, and few others 😊

Since PRO version is built over CE, upgrade won’t be a problem at all.

    Hope this helps.

On what action? I mean what you were trying to do when this occurred?
