Would EE 1.6.0 work with PHP 5.3.3?

We are currently using EE 1.6.0, and just upgraded our PHP installation to 5.3.3
Suddenly, we are getting an SQL error and the content on the site doesn’t display.
If we go through the CP, we can see all posts and templates, but the site only displays the templates with no entries at all.

Any idea if this could be caused by the new PHP installation?

    Thanks

It’s certainly possible, yes. If everything was running fine before the upgrade, chances are that’s indeed the reason for it. EE 1.6.0 is over three years’ old. I don’t see a valid reason to run a version this old; upgrading is urgently recommended.

We will try to downgrade the PHP installation to a 5.2.8
I will also suggest an upgrade to the EE installation.

    Thanks for the reply though.
I’ll post again if we don’t see it working.
