My name is Atiosis and some of my friends call me Ato. I grew up in the Dominican Republic, where I got my degree as Industrial Designer (2003). Looking for a job in my field, I ended working as an illustrator in a web-design company (1999); where I started learning about web-design. Industrial Design became an old dream stuck in my head. Since then, I have been working as a web-designer, teaching myself in order to be competitive in the field. I worked for companies such as Terra-Lycos (www.terra.com.do) and the “Instituto Tecnologico de las Americas” (www.itla.edu.do) in the Dominican Republic. I have help and done some work as a freelancer for “Partners and Ogilvy Dominicana”, “Miami Beach 411”. Looking to improve my knowledge I decided to enter into the MDC to take an A.S. in graphic design. I am now working at FIU Engineer Center as a Web-Graphic-Industrial Designer and also looking forward to finish my degree, and keep learning until I can become an interactive multimedia developer.
