You know what, I think I ran across a post where GoDaddy didn’t play nice with google (gmail) and some other domains. My server is a leased Windows server through GoDaddy so perhaps that is the delivery issue. I read about it somewhere in these forums, I’ll try to dig it up tomorrow.

For the record I was mostly testing with my @ellislab account, but let us know what you find.

As a test, can you try sending using this email address in the FROM field… <test AT shift2design DOT com> to see if they go through, use yourself as the CC. I haven’t noticed or had complaints of undeliverable mail on this server before. I am going to start searching through the server mail logs. Thanks.

I have been searching server email logs etc and I haven’t found anything yet. I have never missed any of the test emails, even using my roadrunner address to&from;. I will test some more using more using my gmail account as soon as I get the chance.

I’ve been sending a bunch of plain text emails from both the communication form using my gmail address and other email addresses domains not hosted on this box and every one has gone through. I simply can’t seem to recreate the missing email issue… I really don’t know where to go from here.

Just sent two tests to you. One from my COMMUNICATE form, and one from the email test utility. I received all mine successfully.

    Got back:

This is a test from Rob (Shift2Design/rt30000). The following numbers should have line breaks between them. This was submitted via EMAIL UTILITY FORM.
    1
    2
    3
    4
    5

They all display one to each line, but for some reason the forum is swallowing up the lines.

Did you get the other, from the COMMUNICATE form yet? I am going to try adding the sendmail_from in the server’s PHP config and try again. Let me know if you receive it though. Thank you.

Yes, I do remember. I’m trying to figure out why. I just set the global PHP sendmail_from variable so I will send you a test form the communicate form again, that’s the one you aren’t receiving.

I verified from PHP info that the global sendmail_from exists, and just sent another test to you. Let me know…
