Maybe, maybe not. Are you using MSM?

    https://support.ellislab.com/bugs/detail/12164/

This was fixed for 2.02 build 20100430.

Nope.  Just a fairly simple single site.

Do try an upgrade to 2.0.2. I’m not sure why you aren’t seeing the correct error string, but a file refresh from upgrading can’t hurt.

Sorry for the big delay, I’ve been busy with a few things including EECI 😉

I’m now on the latest build of 2.0.2 but still seeing the same error when I try to post a new photo.  It only shows up on the first page load after sending in a photo.  After that the error does not show, but neither does the photo until I log in to the control panel and click the ‘Check Moblog’ link.

If it’d help, I’d be glad to provide a login.  Anything else we could try?

    code72,

When taking a look at your File Manager I am getting an error.

Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /expressionengine/config/mimes.php on line 62

There was a change in this file if you were using an earlier build of EE2.x

Replacing the mimes.php file from the latest build fixes that problem.

Can you let us know when that is done. Retest it and if the problem persists then we will continue troubleshooting.

I’ve replaced this file from the latest build and am still seeing the error.  In fact I believe if you wait 15 min from the time I post this and check http://johnknotts.com/photo_blog you’ll be able to see the error yourself.  I sent in a new post that is not showing, but seems to cause this error when moblog tries to publish it.

Let me know if there’s anything else I can do.

Hi John, I’m not seeing the mimes.php error, can you confirm that particular issue is resolved?

Correct, I’m not see the mimes.php error, just the originally reported error on the front-end.

Actually, maybe the cache just hadn’t been cleared.  I successfully posted a moblog with no errors this morning.  Let me test again over the next few days and I’ll let you know if I see that original error again.

Nope.  Just got the original “unauthorized_for_this_channel” error again.  :-(

    Hi John,

Can you please try updating the channel with a new post and letting me know whether you are still receiving this error? I have slightly restructured the moblog check tag because I think this may be to do with your moblog cache file. Your caches for the moblog should be written at 00, 15, 30 and 45 minutes past each hour in your server time.

    Cheers

    Greg

    Hi Thomas,

Sorry, can you clarify your post? Are you also trying to use the moblogging module and seeing this error message? Which pattern are you referring to?

    Cheers

    Greg
