No I don’t mean on the browser title, but on the actual page, right left of the photo of the woman with bloody lips. The info in the browser title should appear on the page itself, centered above the text (which reads “In this, the first issue of 2010, Offscreen…”). I’m not sure if that tag is in the main index template or in another, since there are many other templates (element_header, element_footer, etc.).

I’ve attached a link to the index (which is the home page) template so you can see it whole:

    http://offscreen.com/update/index.php?S=0&C=templates&M=edit_template&id=104&tgpref=14

I also added a link to a test template I did where I manually added the two other fields that are missing, “Essays in this Issue” and “Events and Releases” to show you where they go.

    Hi donats,

    http://www.offscreen.com/biblio/test/index/

I’m only getting a blank page here at the moment.

Also, what Sue is saying is that you’re only showing us the template code inside <head>, and nothing from inside <body>, so we don’t have much to go on.  But like I said, start with a basic html skeleton and add those tags one by one, making sure they work at each step.

I’m sorry, but when I clicked on the link it brings me to the test template? I’m not sure what that means if you are getting a blank page? Did you get a blank page with the other link, because that one (http://offscreen.com/update/index.php?S=0&C=templates&M=edit_template&id=104&tgpref=14) is the complete template page which shows everything inside the <body> tag. At least I think it does…..I’m confused because I’m not sure what tag I’m supposed to be looking for that reproduces the missing info on the home page. The missing info, the volume/issue/date and issue title,  is generated automatically based on what I input in the EE admin issue page. The equivalent would be the title that appears at the top of this essay page: http://www.offscreen.com/biblio/pages/essays/do_genres_exist/
(“Do Genres Exist….” When I look inside the essay template (http://offscreen.com/update/index.php?S=0&C=templates&M=edit_template&id=121&tgpref=14) I’m not exactly sure where the tag is that would generate that title. If I knew that then I may know where to look to find the tag that generates the missing homepage info, and then we can see why it isn’t working. Sorry that this must be remedial (and obvious) stuff for you, but it is not where my expertise lies…..

    donats,

The links you are posting are unviewable to us but viewable to you as a logged in SuperAdmin to your site.

Can you post them in this format http://www.offscreen.com/biblio/test/index/ when referring to them please?

You will need to show us more of the actual template code for that template as opposed to just what’s in the header.

It also might be worth looking for the services of somebody on the Pro Network that you may be able to contract to give your site a once over and make sure everything is as it should be and of course to create the type of relationship where they would be able to make any updates for you in the future.
