    Ok… it’s pulling the correct template_group/template now, but not getting any results.  I’m search for “exact” titles and it’s not finding them.

    Can you show the full search tag you are using:?

    {exp:search:simple_form weblog="movies" result_page="catalog/search"}
    <input id="search-field" name="keywords" type="text" value="Search" /><button>Search</button>
    {/exp:search:simple_form}

    earph, is the </li> a typing error? Not seeing any sort of <li> to go with it.

    Sorry, I meant to delete that.  I just wanted to show you the “core” code.  I’ve updated the post.

    how are you using the exact match with the code earph?  Can you please try the vanilla Search code from the docs?  Add your weblog parameter & result page.

    I added the “vanilla” search form to my page and it does exactly the same thing.  It goes to the results_page just fine, but doesn’t bring up any results.

    {exp:search:simple_form weblog="movies" result_page="catalog/search"}
    <label for="keywords">Search:</label>

    <input type="text" name="keywords" id="keywords" value="" size="18" maxlength="100" /></p>
    <input type="submit" value="submit" class="submit" /></p>
    {/exp:search:simple_form}

    The code on my search template looks like this:

    {exp:weblog:entries weblog="movies" search:release-year="{segment_3}" dynamic="off"}

    I tried removing the search parameter from the weblog tag, but that didn’t help either.  The current search parameter you see there is from a text link that I have, and will have more of in the future.  Is it possible to add multiple search parameters to the weblog tag?

    On a stand alone template, with *just* the form, does it work?

    Yes, I created a blank, stand alone template and inserted the simple, vanilla search form all by itself and it doesn’t work.  It pops the template_group/template, but returns no results.

    So you aren’t getting an error message about no results?

    Could EE be running out of memory? Do you know how much MB RAM PHP has on your server? Also, can you try to turn on error reporting?

    Yes, display errors is on and I added “E_ALL” to my index.php, but nothing is showing up on my site.
