    That depends on the distro, there are multiple distro’s available.

    I assumed you meant distro as in Kalyway or Iatkos

    I simply referred to that page as it describes what a “distro” is. With distro’s in this case I mean different distributions of hackintosh. Each distro is pretty much the same with the exception of hardware support and stability.

    So yes, I ment distro as in Kalyway, Iatkos or iPC.

    @benny

    I’m not sure if I can tell you more, and I’m not really going to as I’m not willing to get my ass kicked by Rick because I’m sharing illegal downloads (or in this case giving information about them).

    Simply go to that link I posted a few posts back, read their website and forum. Search for the distro you want using your regular Torrent tracker. Download it, install it, and pray it works.

    Not going to say Hackintoshes are bad or good, but for the money of one of them you can simply get a Mac-mini which will do a perfect job (and better job) in total legality, there are also iMac’s starting at low rates, you should really think about that before starting to customize your PC like a troll because on the end it will cost you the same money as buying directly an Apple which will run like a charm.

    Agree with you, in some cases you will need to modify your PC, e.g buying a different motherboard. In my case I didn’t had to modify anything, the only problem is is that I can’t use my DVD drive/burner as it isn’t reconized. It can be fixed fairly easy by downloading a “kext”, but I just haven’t took the time to do it.

    I’ve got openSUSE, using kate as editor. I tried to run it in a mode that made it look exactly like mac (some operative system). Yike, me no like!!!

    If you folks want to get rid of Windoze don’t aim for the most expensive stuff. Get you computer beefed up with soemthing like Ubuntu or maybe openSUSE.
