Do note however that the only reason that Mac doesn’t has that many virusses is because only a few percent of the total computer market is using a Mac. If for example about 90% would be using a Mac then Windows wouldn’t have that many virusses.
p.s. Yes I also know the Unix core is more secure.

I don’t think the market share argument works… UNIX based web servers have a huge market share, and yet they’re still more secure then the windown counterpart

Hence I stated that the Core is also more secure. The thing really is that servers itself aren’t a primairy target for virusses. Why infect a few servers that might disable a website when you can actually infect millions of users and screw their PC ?

Yes they are, but you made the statement people wouldn’t want to attack a few web servers when they can infect millions of PCs, but DoS is the same thing, it attacks just a few servers, but affects millions of end users
