    okay cool.

    now, can you please FTP in and look for the ./system/cache folder.  Delete everything in that cache folder but the index.html file and then verify the permissions on that folder are set to 777.

    Clear your browser cache and clear your browser cookies, and try to log in again.

    Are you using masked CP access?

    Do you have the ability to log in through the secondary sites?

    I don’t know. I’ve never tried to log in anywhere other than through the main site, and then switch. I do have an FTP access from my secondary site, but I don’t know where to log on that way.

    In your config.php file, can you please add the following line, upload, and try to log in again.

    $conf['admin_session_type'] = "s";

    That worked. I’m still missing a couple of entries that should have been in my restored data base, but I’m in. DUDE. What the hell fried when I updated?

    And I lost my secondary site. It’s still there, but all the templates are gone and my test entries. Kill me now.

    ETA: wait. You’re going to tell me that I have to log in to it separately, aren’t you?

    okay.  On the secondary site, can you confirm that you are seeing the correct site name in the breadcrumbs at the top of the page?

    I’m not sure how. It isn’t live, I can select it from the pulldown menu, but then, nothing happens. My screen refreshes to Girlyshoes. The two photo galleries (photo shoes and Tante Leah) both come up correctly and I can enter and edit. I’m going into my archives, because I put a link to the test site of MBS…

    I’ll be back in a minute.

    http://www.mildburningsymptoms.com/index.php/Products/index/

    is the link that used to work. Now it tells me that my path is not set correctly.

    Also? Even though I re-installed the Tag module, it isn’t showing up in my CP

    It wasn’t. It is. Now that’s working. Do you think I can reset the index page from “off-line” to live again? Oh, please….

    Except. I still can’t switch to it in my EE control panel.

    I’m not quite sure what you mean.  What address is giving you an offline message?
