XHTML Format

Convert plain text into XHTML typography.

This plugin converts certain characters into typographically correct entities. This can be handy if you have content that isn’t coming from a channel entry where formatting would already be applied.

There are two ways to use this plugin depending on whether you want full typography with auto links, paragraph tags, and so forth. Or if you just want “light” processing to handle smart quotes, hyphens into em-dashes, three periods into ellipsis, etc.
