Automatically ‘clear’ cache on CSS & JS files.
How many times have you had to tell a client to clear their cache so they can see updated CSS or JS code?
This add-on will determine the time a file was last modified and append that unix timestamp to the file path using a given separator. To the user, nothing will seemed to have changed, but to the browser - when the file is updated, it will read it as a new file and will not serve up a cached version.
How to link a file:
<link href="{exp:rd_cache_breaker file='/path/to/file' separator='?'}" rel="stylesheet" />
Example output:
<link href="/path/to/file?1234567890" rel="stylesheet" />
