CleanTalk Anti-Spam for EE

Protect ExpressionEngine and Freeform forms from spam without CAPTCHAs. CleanTalk checks submissions before they are saved or delivered, with individual controls for every supported form.

CleanTalk Anti-Spam for EE adds invisible, server-side spam protection to ExpressionEngine and Solspace Freeform forms. Suspicious submissions are rejected before they are saved or delivered, without requiring visitors to solve a CAPTCHA.

Requirements:

• ExpressionEngine 7.2 or later
• PHP 8.0 or later, using a PHP version supported by the installed ExpressionEngine release
• PHP cURL and OpenSSL extensions
• A CleanTalk Anti-Spam account and website Access Key

Each customer must use their own CleanTalk account and Access Key. The CleanTalk service subscription is not included with this add-on.

Channel Form entry edits are not classified. Super Administrators bypass protection. Logged-in members bypass protection by default but can be included through the add-on settings.

One purchase licenses one production ExpressionEngine installation, including its configured MSM sites and related local, development, testing and staging environments. The purchased version may be used perpetually. Updates and support are included for one year.
