Sorry didn’t knowed where exactly i must post this - if is needed please move it to correct thread. Last week i purchase license from 299$ for this “CMS” latest version 3.4.2, and i face a lot of issues working with backend/frontend. Here are my current issues: Frontend : - without any forms or triggered validations i get validation js error on frontend? :: fix - removed the validation js from loading into footer
Backend : - each time i edit menu item into menu set it moves to very last ? :: fix - just use drag and drop each fkin time when you need to edit something - almost each time when i edit dropdown menus - some of submenu items gain set_id some number and appear as a main menu item in this set and it should be NULL :: fix - just edit the exact entry in phpmyadmin #__menu_items and remove the set_id number - i tryed fully to rewrite the existing menu set - deleted 5 menu items (single links) and added 1 dropdown with 4 subitems , when i click SAVE , i got like 1300 js errors and like 50 empty dropdowns with 1 empty submenu. ::fix - for some reason i cannot delete main dropdowns, get some js error again , deleting submenus first than main items works.
So in general i am “kind” of dissapointed in your software, but will be glad to check if only i get this issues or it’s just a normal work of your system ?

You have full control of the front end output, ExpressionEngine doesn’t inject any HTML, etc., but we can help you with that too. Definitely have not seen the errors you are describing, but we’ll help you get it sorted whether it’s environmental or a bug. Thanks!
To be honest , i don’t believe that standard core install of your software (standard linux shared hosting godaddy), without any customizations should bring issues . I don’t think to spend more money on this stone age CMS, prefer to troubleshooting it myself, but will advice my client to not use this software again - it’s expensive and low functional. i also think that if i already gave $300 for software it should be at least free of bugs. Faced similar issues as Rimo did. Additional payment for bugs fixing .. this is kind of .. unprofessional but real capitalism 😊

I also can confirm about the edit of exact menu item to get reordered to “last”, also when i try to add menu item into menu set some javascript keep reloading the newly apeared box and when i try to click on drop down to select menu item type - it’s reseted because of this reload of html elements - that sometimes happen for 5 sec sometimes for 50 sec .. i just wait and wait to be able to fill label / url etc..
I don’t understand what you mean by “confirmed bugs” but if 2 of your clients(or more) have this issues with your core installation and with core menu set functionality i think it’s pretty “confirmed” … I don’t see where is this “The team” i just see one chief executive officer which asking for money to fix some core issues ?

Derek has not asked for money to fix issues. You can submit a bug report to the [https://support.ellislab.com/bugs](bug tracker here).
Additionally if you did buy a license of EE, then you can submit a support ticket for free and the team is usually able to give you a fix within 24 hours.

Actually i did read that he ask for purchase of new submission for support like few posts ago .. never sayed that it’s free to submit bugs and there is SUCH A OPTION at all ..

Derek did say that you’re eligible for 3 free months of direct support. I understand where you are coming from because years ago when I bought my first EE license I was confused that I had to add Silver support to the cart to be able to use the 3 free months. But that way you get to choose when they start.
I can assure you that the entire EL Team will be helpful to you, and not just in the short term but long term as well. I have yet to meet a more dedicated team that is willing to help with bug fixes, and helping you find the best solution to your needs.
