I have Bad Behavior installed on a client’s site.  It appears to me, though, that this extension is blocking access from Google’s GoogleBot (oh no!)

Using this SEO tool, I see that if I access the site with a User-Agent of Mozilla, I get the site responding fine with a 200.  But if I access it as a Google Bot, Bad Behavior kicks me back with a 403 error:

I’m running EE 1.6.0 Build:  20070918 and Bad Behavior 2 Extension (v.2.0.0) with Bad Behavior 2.0.10.

I’ve disabled it on my site, and I encourage others to check out and see if Bad Behavior blocks Google from visiting your site…

I’m running 1.6.1 and just updated BB to 2.0.11 - only to disable it after finding this post, and realizing that it does indeed block Googlebot.

And probably has been for some time now. Splendid. Just splendid.

Damn!

Is this something people using BadBehavior on other systems are seen as well?  BadBehavior is a port from WordPress isn’t it?
