I have a bad habbit smoking and drinking coffe when coding. Plus not sleeping until morning.

So…. my best friends are :
    1. Coffe
    2. Cigaretes
    3. TV
    4. Music

But, sometimes I was dreaming when coding my friend is a ladies.

    What about you ?

PS : sorry for my English :D

I either have my music playing in the background or the TV in the background.

If it’s late at night, circa 1am, it’ll just be me, TextMate and MAMP running. 😊

Coding all night until morning. That way I’m not bothered by anyone. That said, it’s bad for the body.

    Best friends are :
    1. Coke Zero
    2. Cigarettes
    3. Music
    4. TV Series

On the ladies side, I have yet to find a girl that enjoy coding 😉

Personaly, I find it difficult to code when I know the lyrics or really enjoy/know the piece of music I hear. The exceptions are pieces that are soundtracks like Ghost in the Shell or (arf I can’t remember that other film) that contain long parts of noises-like music, with no proeminent rythms. Mkes me feel far from reality when I code, and I think that I get more concentrated.

Luckily I’m not allowed to smoke at my desk, by order, so I won’t be endorsing this bad habit.

My favourite friends whilst typing away are:

    1) Music
    2) Lucozade (or Lager)
    3) Knowing that it’s raining outside
    4) Socialising over the internets

And how can this list be complete without an honourable mention to Google, everyones friend.
