I tried to add a shortcut to page on the top panel of the CP, but I received this message: 

Method Not Implemented

GET to /system/index.php not supported.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

When I tried to add NavEE for example it’s works O.K.

What i did wrong?

Are you using mod_security? Can you try without mod_rewrite, i.e. put index.php back into the site?

I don’t know what is mod_security but i disable the nsm .htaccess addon as well as the .htaccess file at the root,
and I put back the index.php at the General Configuration page.
No Change 😕
Did I miss something?

Hello, I want to have a quick access to a template such as: index, 404 pages etc, that will appear in the upper section of the CP. As of now, every time I tried to put a shortcut to a template I received an error msg. When i tried to put other types of shortcuts (channel or template group) it was ok.

I tried to do that again, didn’t work. then I deleted all the files from the server, re-installed the software but it still doesn’t work.
Also, I installed the software on a different server and then it worked fine. I checked with the provider of the servers and they had said that the server that didn’t work was the newest one. Are there any limitations on the software regarding the servers?

Hi studiosmadar,

This is almost certainly a server configuration issue that you will need to contact your host for assistance with. Can you please ask them whether the server has either mod_security or PHP Suhosin installed?

They approved that Suhosin is installed on the server.
Should I have to switch the server or is there any another solution?

Can you ask them to disable it (if this is an option)? Otherwise, yes, testing on another server might be a good idea.

So, there is no way that I can handle it via EE and I have to look for another server - is that correct?

This doesn’t look like an EE issue, it’s a server configuration problem. To verify that temporarily disabling mod_rewrite etc. would be the way to go.
