would be nice if clicking on the video or the forums link actually worked. Was this a premature launch?
Where can we find more info!!

I think they released it at EECI today a few hours ago, so I’m prepared to cut them some slack for another day or two.

Mojomotor looks a lot like something else I have seen recently… I just can’t remember what it was.

I must say I’m more than a little impressed. The EE importer is a nice touch. I can see myself using this for a lot of sites where I’d previously gone with Perch or something in that league.
Now let’s wait for licensing and pricing details, I hope they get that right.

Watched the video with the sound on. Loads of E and glow sticks at EECI?
#9 / Jun 02, 2010 1:43pm
I hear it’s going to cost 49$. That’s a price point my small clients can live with.
#10 / Jun 02, 2010 1:49pm
$49.95… did I just break your bank? 😊
#11 / Jun 02, 2010 3:15pm
Wow this looks great and the price is not bad either!
@Derek:
Can you say atleast something about the releasedate? 😊 Not specific, but atleast what year is it going to be released 😉
I ask this because our company have searched for CMS that we could use and sell to our clients(we would like to concentrate on the site design). We have our own CMS for our clients, but we dont want to use it anymore as its quite old and developing new one would take a lot of time and we definately are willing to pay for a good, easy to use CMS. And Mojomotor looks JUST like what we are after. BTW, hows the language support in Mojomotor atm? Most of our clients are in Finland, so it would be nice to offer them finnish version.

Woah, looks awesome. I wonder if there is a blogging option…
#13 / Jun 02, 2010 3:20pm
Blogging would be possible in the loosest sense of the term, but Mojo is not a blogging engine. If you are looking for a blog, I’d still encourage you to check out other options.
Release date - very soon. A few weeks or a month. We’ve already done the first beta, next up is a wider public beta, and then release. Its feature complete (for release), and ready to go. Not holding out on a date, it just depends on how the beta goes, but our intention is to release shortly.
Mojo right now is English only, but if you’d be willing to translate it I’d be happy to offer your language pack more widely. Drop me an email at derek.allard (at) ellislab (dot) com, and I’ll be happy to send you the lang files.

Looks pretty nifty, and as always the interface is lovely. Something PyroCMS still lacks.

You rat bas***ds do this every time. Announce a killer app that looks awesome and then make us wait. I need a hit man .... I need a hit RIGHT NOW…
Derek is like “the brain scanning content generator widget is almost complete but the customer compliance plugin won’t be released until version 2”.
Unfortunately everything Ellis Lab comes up with is elegant in design and this does not appeal to the unwashed mass of hobbyist developers that only respect unnecessary complexity (You know who you are Zend Zealots).
