Not totally.  I’ve seen one user with over 400 posts.  Yet most were reset to zero.

Wonder what happened?  I’m a Summer Student again!  Ack!

Don’t you feel rejuvenated by having 0 posts? It’s like being a CI virgin again. Think of all the wonderfull stuff you havn’t explored yet(for the second time:-))

That was strange.  As a summer student, I had no obligation but to study.  Now, as a lab assistant, I’ll have to fetch the coffee again.

betting this is a caching issue with ee. they prob store the total posts in the cache instead of the db and it got cleared with the upgrade to EE 2.0

I hope you didn’t put money on that one 😉, they’re stored in the user table. And fwiw, this site still runs on 1.6.

haha serves me right to make assumptions… 😊 and got confused with the version of the forum vs the version of EE 😊 it was just weird that it happened after you guys took the site down. so do you know what the problem was?

We rejigged some of the subforums on the EE board, which clears the post count. Didn’t run a recount at the time as our database was already getting hammered, but as everyone found out it’s self-correcting 😊 .
