Hello, I had a company develop my site and now I have questions to post (commercial license) in EE forums. I am not able to post because my license is probably owned by the developer rather than me and I do not have permission. That contract has been finished and I need to post because our site is having troubles. What can I do?

Hi, careerguy - welcome to the forums!

Please review our policy for instructions on gaining technical support access.  Essentially, you need to email sales with the license number and your ExpressionEngine.com username.

I would also recommend that you have the developer transfer legal ownership of the license to you, which they can do by emailing those same details with a request to transfer.

    Thanks!

Thanks, Lisa! I had emailed sales about an hour ago, but no response yet and I have a site that is down now, I guess I was hopeing for a quicker response to my email. Thanks!

I’ve just responded to that email. Usually we do ask for a bit more than an hour. =)
