I have a strange behavior of the “you are now logged in” and “you are now logged out” pages. I installed a dutch translation pack and when I login I get the “you are now logged in” page in Dutch, when I log out, It’s in English. Sometimes when I login with the admin account I get the logged in message in Dutch too.

When I print_r($LANG), sometimes it’s English and sometimes it’s Dutch. I’ve checked if the translation is in the language pack and yes, that is all fine.

Do I have to change a setting somewhere or is this a bug?

Edit: the rest of the site and backoffice has no problems, it’s only on the pages with the messages.

You can set a language pack per site, but each member can override this with their personal localisation settings. If you go to My Account -> Personal Settings -> Localis(z)ation Settings -> Select Language. What language does it say your user has set?
