    Hi!

Is it possible to allow a single member (or group) to create new users and assign them *only* to a single group?

I want to give this user the ability to administrate a single wiki, including adding and removing users who have user-level access to the wiki.

It appears that I can unlock a group, and allow this demi-admin to place members inside that group, but I’d have to allow him the ability to create and delete *any* users in order to let him make new users for this particular group.

    Am I missing anything?

    Greetings cerias!

In CP Home ›  Admin ›  Members and Groups ›  Member Groups ›  Edit Member Group ›  <member group name>  ›  Control Panel Administration there is an option to allow banning/creation/moving to unlocked member groups.  Does that help?

Thanks, it looks like that will work. My options don’t specifically mention “creation,” so it wasn’t clear from there that I could *just* add that. I’ve tested it though, and it seems to work the way I need.

    Thank you!

Excellent!  I’m glad that works for you.  Please don’t hesitate to start a new thread if anything else comes up!
