perhaps even better just “source”. That immediately puts the right image in my head

    Mine to, I like that - exp:source:entries

I think the devs really made up their collective mind here, so we better get used to it

I say, keep trying to convince them of their wayward ways 😉

You know we love you PXLated. I think that’s the standard template I’m supposed to respond with in these situations… *checks notes*

I figured after all these years you’d have developed some standard responses for me 😊  😊  😊

    Hi all.

Great preview for the Version 2.0

I wish to ask about the Gallery module. Is there any? If the answer is yes, what are the improvements on it?

    Thank you for reading….

    Any clue? No answer?

    Silly me . . .

I thought that after years of waiting for EE 2.0 and also patiently trying to come to some understanding on the future of EE integrated support for image / photo content (or moving images for that matter) that on the cusp of 2009 a road, or map, or road-map even, might become apparent?

No . . . we’ll just keep hanging tough . . . reluctant to move forward . . . wanting so much more for our image centric businesses . . . . but afraid to give up on years of devotion and investment in EE. . . yet still not even sure “modules” that dynamically integrate image content into our CMS will be improved, or even exist in EE 2.0?

Ok, enough of my overly dramatic, sarcastic, largely uncalled for ranting - lets get back to something much more useful. . . .

. . . like arguing about what new descriptive word should be applied to our data-containers in EE 2.0 (when it is released in 2010).  Lovely =)

How about instead of ranting you drop us a Feature Request with what would actually be useful to you regarding the Gallery Module. You’ve been around long enough to know we don’t do roadmaps but we do listen to the community a lot.

I have no problem with “channel” altough I agree with Derek that “data” is more semantically correct.
I’m just pretty sure that the first few months I’ll continue to type {exp:weblog… (not to mention my textmate bundle!). And, maintaining quite a few legacy sites, I’m also sure that renaming that tag is going to trip me up more than once 😊
