    Is it possible to change the look of the standard “Thank You” page that appears after sending a message via the Email Contact Form?

    Or can I stop this message appearing completely and go straight to my own redirect page? (even if I set ‘redirect’ to zero, I still get a glimpse of the standard Thank You page).

    Thanks

    That’s what I thought I did - I’m using:

    {exp✉️contact_form recipients="[email protected]" charset="utf-8" redirect="0" return="http://my_new_thank_you_page" }

    but I still get a glimpse of the standard EE Thank You page before my own one comes up. Or have I missed something?

    Thanks for your help.

    Still doesn’t do it.

    I found a similar post here - http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/62874/ - but it looks like there was no way round it (other than using Freeform, which I’d prefer to avoid as I just want a simple contact form and don’t want to store replies in a database). If so, is it possible to change the look of that standard “thank you” page?

    Try going to :

    Admin->Specialty Templates->User Message Template

    That should allow you to style the page however you like.

    Hope that helps.

    Best wishes,

    So using redirect=“none”:

    {exp:email:contact_form user_recipients="false" recipients="[email protected]" charset="utf-8" redirect="none" return="{site_url}/contact/thanks"}

    Doesn’t seem to work??

    I seem to get a flash of the thank-you message, any ideas?
