    Hello,

I have a forum set up that is working nicely (more or less!).... I set up a new theme by copying the Developer theme.  All looks nice enough so far.

    http://as-interface.co.uk/index.php/forums/

What I would like to do is to limit the number of most recent / most popular that appear at the top of the /forums/index page.

I have hunted around the templates, and found the archive template / recent post table etc.  But no mention of a limit.  Currently it seems to default to 10.  I would like it to only show 3.. or 5 etc

Is this something hardcoded in to the EE Forum Module?  Or am I looking in the wrong place?

I would be most grateful if anyone can point me in the right direction.

Answering my own question.  I ended up hacking the core php file mod.forum_core.php and found the actual SQL query and changed the limit from 30 to the number I wanted.

Not ideal.. maybe a feature request for the next version?  {include:recent_posts:limit=5} or something?

    Ta anyhow!
