I have been using Opera as my primary browser for quite some time, but recently made the switch to Google Chrome. Apart from that, I use Opera, FF and IE for testing purposes.

Safari is my favorite on OSX but I do also use Firefox for web-site building and testing. I then also use some of the online browser compatibility tools so that I can see what sites look like on Windows machines.

    Well that’s me anyway 😉

    Best wishes,

    Mark

I use Firefox, mostly for the Firebug addon… I like Safari too.

I haven’t played with Google Chrome for more than about five minutes, but it seems like an interesting concept.

Count me in on this one, but one advantage I have (as a hobbyist) is that as long as my sites look good in the current version of Safari I am happy.

Safari 4 will have a built in option much like Firebug, and once that ships I will probably be Safari only.

Of course, I am now trying to redo some of my stylesheets to make the site look presentable on my iPhone as well.

Same here.  Throw in Safari as well for testing.

I’m addicted to certain Firefox extensions that have no counterpart in Opera. Google’s Chrome browser has privacy issues from what I’ve heard.

And Internet Explorer is right out.

But why? IE is awesome! 😊

You mean you aren’t already using version 4? I am - Version 4 Developer Preview.

Really? I never found one like that, with the possible exception of the web developer toolbar. But Opera had that covered nicely with Dragonfly last time I checked.

Don’t listen to the FUD 😊 You can configure every aspect of that.

And Internet Explorer is right out.

    That, of course, is true.

Way to violate your NDA there, Mark. Actually, I am too lazy to look up whether or not this would be a violation, so rather than say whether I do or not, I decided to use google to see if that feature was announced. It is, so I felt fine talking about it.

Still not saying if I’m using it, you know, so Steve Jobs doesn’t have me thrown in iJail

Hmm not sure if I am violating any NDA there or not. I actually found it on the Apple site some time back. Just had to sign up for developer access and then could download it. It’s not like it’s a secret or anything, at least I don’t think so or I wouldn’t have found it as easily as I did 😉

    Best wishes,

    Mark
