I’ve been using firefox as my primary browswer since around 0.7 or 0.8. I tried opera - it’s okay, but there’s just somethign that bothers me - can’t put my finger on it.

Tried chrome for about 2 hours and never touched it since, it was over hyped.

I don’t remember for sure the version number of the first FF version I used, but those sound about right. I’d been using IE6 for what seemed like decades by then and I was finally ready for tabbed browsing.

My install of Firefox has some hinks that I can’t figure out, so every so often embedded media stops streaming—so if I really want to see the media and I really don’t feel like rebooting my computer, I’m likely to use Chrome for that.

If it still won’t work in Chrome, I try Opera. If it still won’t stream, then I reboot. If it still won’t stream, I figure the problem isn’t at my end after all.

Man, you’re persistent. I assume if it doesn’t work after trying in Safari that the website owner doesn’t want me to see the content, so then I look for the content elsewhere. If I still can’t find the content I assume I wasn’t meant to see it. Enough of these and I get conditioned to start looking at secondary sites first.

Some people have browser loyalty. You have browser promiscuity.

Well, I have website loyalty. Most of the media embeds I view are only interesting to me because of where I find them, not so much for their own value.

I use firefox as my main browser due to the web developer toolbar. I use every other browser as well for testing purposes.
