    Hello,

Ive come across a few LG plugins for EE. His website can be found at: http://leevigraham.com/

I dont know if this are certified plugins like the ones of Solspace. Does anyone know if LG’s plugins are updated frequently and are reliable?

Leevi is an active member of the EE community. I would recommend giving some of his free plugins a try (I’ve used the social bookmarking one in the past and was very pleased with it) to get an idea of what you can expect should you take the plunge on a paid product.

Personally, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his stuff, but trying out a freebie for yourself will likely mean more to you than anyone’s recommendation.

Im thinking of using LG .htaccess Generator v1.0.0 but dont really know if this is a reliable solution. Ive tried the social bookmarking plugin. Was alright. The only reason I stopped using it, was because of reliability uncertainties. i.e. if the author, one day, decides not to upgrade the urls to the social bookmarking sites

I’ve used the LG_tinymce which worked well. Only issue I had was that it didn’t allow me to use the existing upload in EE so I had to spend lots of time getting it all working. But the plugin itself worked very well.

For some reason I could never understand what the htaccess generator was. I guess I was very tired last time I checked the description.

Anyhow, his plug-ins and module are highly trustworthy. You won’t be disappointed.

LGs plugins are awesome, and any queries I’ve had have been answered by Leevi on these forums in no time. Better Meta is (for me anyway) a necessity for any EE project I work on.

Good reviews about these plugins so far. I may just give it a shot after EE 2.0 comes out. Thanks for the feedback

Leevi is very reliable, and writes quality stuff. I use his addons on every single build I do without fear.

Leevi is one of the best, possibly a bit too good actually 😉

    Best wishes,

    I’ll second that.

A side note though, kriz, Solspace’s Tag module is certified by EllisLab.  As far as I’m aware, nothing else is (someone correct me if I’m wrong).  The rest of their modules/extensions/plugins are still great, but not “officially” certified.  The point is, EllisLab just doesn’t officially certify that many 3rd party add ons.  So, you shouldn’t take that as a bad sign.

I don’t think Leevi is going anywhere anytime soon.  In fact, he’ll probably release another 20 extensions next week.
