    Hi,

I tried to search for this, but I didn’t find any help. I am planning to create gig calender for local bands to submit their gigs. I want it to work like wiki, so anyone can submit new gigs and bands to the service.

I found Stand-Alone Entry -topic from docs, but it says very clearly, that user must be registered before submitting. I do not want that. I don’t need users, I just want easy and quick to use service.

So is it possible to create that kind of system with EE? That everyone can submit content, without creating an account. No worries if it requires coding… but I go with another way (custom app), if EE tries to make it compicated (always checking that all content comes from users).

Hi, lerva - glad you found a solution!  Another solution is to use the moblog; set up a form to email to the moblog, and let that create an entry.

But do remember that ExpressionEngine can only protect you so much - if you open up adding content to anyone, then you may not always get the content that you are after. =)

Best of luck with your project!
