Unable to save your template as a text file

    Nice! I was having the problem and I host with Media Temple… Turning the SAfe Mode off worked perfectly!


    On DV Server using Plesk:

    (dv) 3.x Customers can disable PHP safe mode local value for a domain from within Plesk.
    Login to Plesk
    Click on Domains
    Click on the domain
    Click on Setup under the Hosting section
    Under the services section make sure PHP support is checked, but safemode should be unchecked.
    Click Save.

    I’ll second the suggestion on Media temple DV (dedicated virtual) boxes I was having trouble with saving templates to external files and thought it was a permissions issue, but nope; just the “safe mode” checkbox under PHP options.
